You can expect to pay anywhere from $100, $200, even $500 or more for replacement fenders and other plastic parts for dirt bikes and ATVs . Now, you have an economically priced option to deal with the problem of cracked and broken fenders -- the ATV Fender Welder! The ATV Fender Welder is the first plastic welder specifically designed for the do-it-yourselfer. It's so easy...
Just listen to what one customer had to say about it....
"I'm an auto mechanics instructor here at Birks County Tech School in Eastern PA. I had to teach the auto body course even though I did not have much experience with autobody. We got one of your welders and my first job was to weld the fender on one of the kids' RM250. I'd never welded before and I didn't expect it to be so easy. It worked really well...it just amazed everybody! The repair has stood up well to the abuse it takes. Now all the kids are bringing their plastic stuff in here for repair!" John Karavage, Girardville, Pennsylvania (May 14, 2001) |
Take a look at this fender. This will give you an idea of the kind of repair that can is possible with the easy-to-use ATV Fender Welder.

Hopefully, your fenders aren't this bad, but it's reassuring to know that it can be repaired.
Good morning. Ordered your ATV repair kit last week, received within 2 days. Used it this past weekend to repair a major crack (separation really) that spanned almost the entire front body piece of Suzuki ATV. I ended up using all of the repair rods!! regards |
I found most people are dissatisfied with the after market fenders available and stock ones are very pricey. I decided to check into a plastic welder and weld the cracks myself. I found a company by the name of Urethane Supply that sells a welder especially for ATV fender repair. I bought one and the recommended cleaning/prep chemicals and found that it worked Great! I fixed many feet worth of cracks. They are still crack proof after 2 years of hard riding. Kris Thimet |
I wish it did. Unfortunately, you will be able to see where the repair was made. But you need to decide what is more important... Having expensive new fenders that look great, or... Having fully functional fenders and saving some cash.

Here is one way you can make it look a lot better (and this is what I did with mine)... After your weld has cooled down, sand it with 80 grit, then 180 grit. It will look really bad at this point, but your not done yet. You might even say it looks fuzzy. Now take a heat gun... and just blast the hot air accross the fuzz. This will melt the plastic just enough so that it looks wet. When it cools, it will look smooth again. *** Be careful not to hold the heat on the fender too long though. Otherwise you will warp the fender. You are trying to melt just the surface. |
I cannot say enough great things about the ATV repair kit. If you are looking for a do it yourself kit, that is "easy", and I will attest it is Durable, then this is the kit for you. Why spend hundreds of dollars on new plastics when you can fix them yourself? I will tell all of my friends who ride a motorcycle or ATV this is a must have . Great Product! Thank you. Glenn D. Yes. If the fender does break again, it will probably break in the same place, but there is a way to make it much stronger. Here's how...
Cut a piece of Stainless Steel Reinforcing Mesh about 1 inch wide and the length of the crack. Use the tip of the welder and push it down into the plastic. (You might want to do it on the backside, since it will not be pretty). Let it cool off and then finish the repair. Burying the wire mesh into the plastic is like putting rebar in concrete... it makes it much stronger.
| I damaged an ATV fender and went searching for repair info. I found your site. It's the most informative site I've ever surfed. My order was sent on-line. I'm now smarter on this subject than I ever imagined. Many, many thanks. Very well done! Andy Z. |
"I purchased your ATV PRO WELDER 1. Tried it on my son's busted fender today . I found the unit very easy to master and it did a wonderful job. After the weld job was done, I sanded the area and almost made the 10" crack invisible. Amazing. Great product! Now my buddy has his busted fender in my garage. Thanks" David Foster |
